So what do we think of the latest incarnation of Billy? Personally, I think he may be a vampire. He has scary looking teeth. Seriously, he frightens me. And why his sudden interest in Lily? He's known Lily a long time so I see no reason for his sudden interest in her. I mean, it certainly can't be her personality. She doesn't have one. And as far as her looks go, Billy's been around the block, and around the world, long enough to have met lots of beautiful girls. Lily's pretty but she's nothing special. Is it that she has some vampire-favorite blood type?

They say vampires are spirits that inhabit the host of a dead body. This might also explain why Billy was surprised to see so many people he knew at Daniel's art show. He said he knew Amber was currently living in Genoa City and wondered if she knew any of his former peers. Is he kidding? Everyone knows everyone in Genoa City. There's only one coffee shop for God's sake and everyone goes there every day. But, if Billy were a vampire now, he wouldn't know that, would he?

Plus, Billy being a vampire goes a long way towards explaining his earlier attraction to Amber. Amber is so pale and so gaunt, not to mention devoid of any taste in clothes or accessories, that Billy may have mistaken her for another vampire. See how this is all adding up?

The relationships on this show are a little too incestuous for my taste. It's hard to keep track, but we have Lily, who was married to Daniel, in love with Cane, who was married to Amber, who is now in love with Daniel. Cane and Billy are brothers and now they both want Lily. Colleen is Lily's best friend but now she's sleeping with Daniel, who was married to Lily. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be real comfortable hanging around in a circle of friends where everyone has pretty much either slept with or been married to everyone else in that group. Sounds awkward to me.

How unlikely is it that River, or Lowell, or whatever his name is, has been able to successfully dodge the law for the greater part of his life, yet is finally nabbed in Genoa City, of all places? I mean, the police in Genoa City seldom arrest or charge the actual culprit in any given crime, and anyone with half a brain is able to slip right under their noses. If Lily and Daniel can escape the police and go on the lam, how hard can it be?

And for the love of God, why do we need this new character Eden? The last thing this show needs is some snot-nosed teenager. I thought we'd seen the last of that when they reformed runaway Mackenzie. And Mackenzie was Shirley Temple compared to this brat. With the suitcase filled with dirty clothes and the off-putting chip on her shoulder, she just screams bad news. Or perhaps even vampire.

And are we to believe that Eden and River have never once been separated? Really? Because I don't recall seeing her at Kevin and Jana's wedding. I must have missed that part. Where she was off smoking a joint while her father missed the opportunity to introduce her to her brother.
