Why your

How dumb are Phyllis and Nick? Don't bother to
answer, that was a rhetorical question. I get that
they wanted revenge on Jack for going behind their
backs, but they cut their own noses off to spite
their faces, as the saying goes. Like it or not,
Jack and Sharon are their partners and it serves no
purpose to sabotage their own business just to get
even. It's like if they had to do an expose on
Martha Stewart in Martha Stewart Living and trash
her just to sell her own magazine. It doesn't make a
whole lot of sense to alert readers and advertisers
that the owner is scum.
How on earth did Chloe ever get a job as a
"stylist?" That wedding dress and hat she was
wearing made her look like she was appearing as a
joke bride on Laugh-In circa 1969. And where does
Cane get off acting like such a jackass about the
whole thing? Who the hell was holding a gun to his
head to go through with this insanity?
The fact that Chloe is really Esther's daughter
Kate, however, goes a long way towards explaining
the crazy behavior she's been exhibiting from the
very start. At least now we have some inkling of why
Chloe was so desperate to become a member of the
Chancellor family. Still, if she wanted to be rich
like her mother's employer, she had better
alternatives than the ever-surly Cane. I hear
Victor's available.
Why is Devon still living in Jack's house? If memory
serves, Jack rented that place to Daniel and Lily -
because of Daniel. Who no longer lives there. Nor
does Lily. And didn't Devon just drop out of school
to become a full time idiot - er - songwriter? How
is he paying the rent? Does he still work part time
at Newman? Not after this week he doesn't.
Goodbye Tyra, goodbye Ana. Don't come back, we won't
miss you. It was enough that we had to suffer
through an entire goodbye party dedicated to their
brief existence. I cannot fathom why such an amount
of time was devoted to these annoying characters
nobody gives a damn about. Meanwhile Paul's
girlfriend Maggie disappeared with nary a mention
let alone a damn party.
Isn't Brad tired of ping-ponging back and forth
between Newman Enterprises and Jabot Cosmetics? I
know I'm tired of it. I'm no expert in the world of
corporate affairs but from what I gather, at that
level of the executive branch, contracts are signed
and employees must fulfill agreed upon specific
lengths of employment. By this time I can't imagine
either company would hire Brad in the first place,
let alone give him a contract that specifies he can
jump ship and go back to work for the competitor
whenever the hell he feels like it. Then again,
considering the parade of morons running either
company at any given time, who knows?
Victoria was back at Newman for what, a day? I fail
to see how she managed to accumulate enough personal
items in that day to need a box to pack up her stuff
once she was fired again. I hope she doesn't bother
to unpack it at home, though. Once Victor learns
that Adam installed arch nemesis Brad Carlton as
CEO, Adam's going to be the one packing up a box of
his things. Maybe he can borrow Vicki's.
