I don't know who this strange, red-headed woman is
who seems to be in charge of the Restless Style
magazine now, but she had me at "Dump Lily." You see
that? Even strangers think Lily sucks.
On the other hand, I'm not so sure they're much
better off with Samantha Creswell, whoever the hell
that is. I'm pretty sure they just made her up for
the show, but if they can get Kathy Hilton for one
episode, then surely they could have scrounged up
some other D-List celebrity for a day. I mean, there
are countless reality shows on TV these days, many
of them based on modeling and fashion. While I agree
that having Lily Winters on the cover isn't going to
get anyone to buy the magazine, at least I actually
know who she is. And that was supposed to be a $4
thousand dollar dress she was wearing? It looked
like something you'd pick up at Wal-Mart.
But, God help me, Lily's cover was actually better
than the crap they wound up with. Not because of
Lily, mind you. But at least the original cover
looked eye catching and different. The revised cover
had some generic blonde bimbo's face against a
totally white background. It might just as well have
been the monthly issue of Trends in Modern
Dentistry.
I loved how when the website went down everyone
immediately suspected it was Sharon's fault. Because
everyone knows Sharon's an idiot. "Who else could it
be?" wondered Phyllis aloud. Certainly not the half
dozen or so extras they pay as "office workers" who
mill around in the background typing on computers
and answering phones. Nope - had to be Sharon.
Only, it was Amber, someone who I'm starting to
suspect was hired only to make Sharon look smarter.
And what's with these outfits Amber is always
wearing to the office? Apparently she never
remembers to put pants on in the morning. Is this
her idea of "fashion?" To wear skirts so high the
whole world is your gynecologist?
Would someone tell me what the purpose was of Victor
summoning his children to the ranch to announce his
engagement? In the first place, he's already well
aware of how his children feel about his
relationship with Sabrina. In the second place,
Victoria just quit her job and Nicholas hasn't
worked for him for quite some time. How does Victor
figure that this development "affects them all?"
