The Genoa City News is 100% reader supported. We depend on readers to make their purchases for books, videos, music, pet supplies, etc., via store links found throughout the site. All monies generated from ads are used to pay expenses to run the website.

In some cases, supporting us is as easy as visiting the web sites of merchants whose banner ads you see at the top and bottom of most pages. Each time you go window shopping the GCN receives between $.12 and $.17. Of course, those merchants hope you'll see something you like and spend a few bucks. While in this particular case the GCN doesn't get a referral fee based on your total purchase like we do for these merchants, we do get what is known as a pay-per-click payment.
