Show #9245 - October 5, 2009 - Directed by: Dean LaMont

Got some spare time? Call your lawyer and ask him to find you a "private" heart donor. Or a public one for that matter and be prepared to get laughed at. Not that it matters to the rich and powerful Newman family, they snagged a heart in record time from their worst enemy no less.

Phyllis with Nick in the chapel, he tells of Sharon's baby dying and Phyllis is so sorry. Oh, by the way, it wasn't Jack's baby - it was Nick's!

Ashley and Adam are looking at her baby when a nurse comes along to take the kid to "baby central". Adam wants to know if she's told Victor of the baby name change. Not yet. What the hell? Doesn't she know Victor could die? Ashley doesn't care; she's got "family".

In the great man's room, Jack is giving Victor the good/bad news. Colleen is gone, but Traci, God love her, made a humanitarian decision which means Colleen's heart is Victor's. Jack rambles on about how Traci reached her decision. Victor says he's grateful, as Jack says Colleen's heart is young and good. Victor is aware that Jack despises him, and Jack calls him a "bastard", but Jack says one death is enough. For Colleen's sake, Jack wants Victor to live. Out in the hall, Jack gives the news to Nikki and Victoria.

Adam can tell there's something different about Ashley when she speaks of Victor. She won't talk to him about it, but he goes on. The baby is Victor's "blood" and it may be the old man's only chance to see the baby.

Phyllis isn't looking well. Nick says he planned to tell her, but there was the thing with Summer and it didn't seem like the right time. Now that Phyllis knows, can they deal with it? Boo hoo, Nick didn't get to see the dead baby, or hold it. Sharon didn't either because she was "medicated". Phyllis isn't hearing what he's saying as she sputters about Sharon having every right to see the kid. Oh lord, Nick didn't tell her that Sharon signed the cremation papers.

Mac arrives at Cane's and Lily's place. Anything changed? Yeah, Traci made a decision. Victor gets Colleen's heart. Lily, as always, talks about herself. How she got cancer. How death and dying and dead should be erased from the world, only Colleen wouldn't let her. "Nobody was supposed to die," Lily actually said and produces the angel she wears around her neck. Mac hacks up Darfur a number of times and makes the connection between that and Colleen as something "magical".

Nikki is all smiles. She tells Victor how "incredible" it is that he got a heart.

Abby, Traci, Steve and Jack take one last look at Colleen's baby. Traci and Steve leave Abby alone to cry on Jack's shoulder, who says they'll all have to say good-bye to Colleen. Abby is scared. Jack tells her not to be as Abby goes on to bawl about her "big sister" who she didn't know all that well. Then she tells the body, "You're saving my dad", before running out of the room leaving Jack alone to talk with the body. He was thinking earlier about how Colleen had a "lot of heart". Lo, her heart will keep on beating in the body of his enemy. On and on Jack goes to say that for all the "endless" hate, he will go on. Alas, he's sorry that Colleen had to be a pawn in his war with Victor.

At the nut house, Sharon is surprised to see Rafe, who says that once she's discharged she's free! The court is aware of her "loss" and thus all criminal payment has been made in full.

Phyllis tells Nick that what has happened is not the same as when Cassie died. Thank god. Still, Nick must be there for Sharon who think she's jinxed when it comes to babies and relationships. At the same time Nick wants Phyllis to stay close, and she will because it "kills" her to see him in such pain. In comes Billy, who starts to leave until Nick tells him there's room for everyone. Oh no, Billy has an axe to grind. Damn Newmans!

Nikki is whispering unintelligible stuff, but it's clear when she informs Victor that his new baby will grow up to ride horses like the other kids. Out in the hall, Ashley hugs Abby as Nikki leaves, before going in to see the great one. A nurse follows with the baby and hands it off to Victor.

J.T. is back to tell Colleen she wasn't supposed to die. He's been having wet dreams that he was able to save her. "I love you Colleen. I will always, always love you. I hope you know that!' he actually said apparently unaware there's no way she knows anything anymore. And who would be looking through the window? Victoria!

Oh no! Sharon is looking at, and talking to, a photo of Cassie!

With her baby and Victor, Ashley tells him the kid's name which he approves. Ashley wants him to rest because their children need him to be strong and so she must be going. What? The baby looks tiny? Well, yeah. It is a bit "underweight", but will be fine.

Out in the hallway, Nikki can see from the gloomy look on Nick's face that something is wrong.

More of Lily with Cane talking about when Colleen was there visiting, which Lily says was a dream until Cane says dreams can be real if you let them!

Billy is being a bitch when Katherine opens the chapel door. Billy bemoans the life Colleen (See See) will never know and how terrible that Victor will have her heart. Katherine interrupts to scold him. She wants him to grieve! Oh lady, these people don't know how to grieve. Flipping through the Bible, Katherine quotes scripture and the roof doesn't cave in. She pukes up something in Ezekiel about heart. Just have a heart! Can't Billy do that? He pretty much doesn't believe in God, but falls into her arms bawling and moaning that he doesn't know if he can live without Colleen.

Back in Victor's room, those gathered are told to leave. Victor mumbles how he "loves" them as they leave one by one. Slow to leave, Nikki whispers something about everyone loves him.

More final farewells to Colleen until Traci is left alone with the body. Oh, my poor baby. Sob. Sob.

Looking at the ceiling, Lily is thanking God for letting Colleen come to her. It was a "miracle" which she didn't understand at first, but does now just like her mama. Lily says she's so grateful to have had Colleen for a friend.

Sharon is looking at the ultrasound of her baby, as the plug keeping Colleen's body going is pulled. At the same time, Nadia's Theme is being played as Victor is seen being rolled away. In the hallway, both bodies pass like ships in the night and both families looking on.

Show #9246 - October 6, 2009 - Directed by: Sally McDonald

How nice to be rich? Victor waited what, all of five days to get a new heart? Pity the fools still on the waiting list for months if not years. Pity the women who give birth and can actually feel the pain from such birth. Pity the women who give birth and do not ask who cleaned the baby up. Like rats in a sewer, this is life in Genoa City where the "drama" picks up with Chloe and Chance at the Jitter Joint. Also there is Mac and they're yapping about the last 24-hours being so traumatic.

At the Abbott mansion it's Jack, Billy and - Noah! Sharon calls from her room at the AC [who's paying the bill] and Noah is surprised because her 30-day stay isn't up. Sharon doesn't want to talk about it and hangs up on him! Billy asked Jack if he should handle funeral arrangements for See See, but Jack says he'll do that.

Back in town, it's Neil and the first place he went was to the God Have Mercy Medical Center to ask Nikki how Victor is (he's still in surgery) and how Ashley is. Nikki is whispering so low it's hard to tell what she said but generally she's hoping everything will be okay.

Chloe and Chance blather about nothing as Billy arrives and gets a hug from Chloe, who says she heard about Colleen and can't believe Traci gave the heart to Victor. Naturally, the idea of Victor having that good heart makes his tummy turn. Having kissed Billy's ass good, Chloe offers to buy him a cup of coffee and gets turned down as Billy goes to join Mac.

On the phone, Victoria is checking with the nanny about Reed. She bitches that J.T. hasn't been playing mommy and learns from Nick that Sharon lost another baby. Oh, why didn't Nick say anything? Because daddy was more important and besides, the baby is dead so what does it matter now?

Nikki pukes all over Phyllis about when she was at the GHM worrying about Summer. Phyllis rambles on about all the "loss" so many have suffered and how Nick is hurting. If only Phyllis had the power she'd bring the baby back to life.

Looking at the ultrasound, Sharon is interrupted by a knock on the door. It's Noah and Jack, who says Sharon sounded upset on the phone. Did something happen? She had the baby? Sharon delivers the bad news. There were "complications". Sharon tells Jack how the judge let her out of the nut house early because of her loss. Noah, able to tell that Sharon has been crying, leaves the adults alone to make a call. This is Sharon's cue to say she's worried about losing Noah next which may be a premonition of things to come. She wants Jack to let her do things her way insomuch as she hasn't told Noah about the baby. So, does Nick know? Yes. And why didn't she see the baby? The doctor told her not to. By the way, the baby's name would have been Faith. Holy Christ! Jack flips. That's what Ashley named her baby.

Speak of the Devil, Neil is with Ashley and the baby. He also tells Ashley about Lily, who Ashley thinks is going through Hell. Not to worry, Neil says that once Victor is on the mend all other troubles will go down the drain.

In the hall, Nikki wants to know if Phyllis is pissed that Nick didn't tell her that he's the father of Sharon's baby. Phyllis says no because Nick did what he did for the sake of his family!

J.T. appears and Nick tells him that he's going to see his new "sister", which is really his daughter, only he doesn't that and it's only a half sister at best.

Chloe and Chance talk about how she's written Billy off. Chance can't understand why she's worried about someone who isn't her husband anymore. Oops, she never signed the papers so legally Billy is still her husband. At the same time, Billy is whining that he doesn't have much say in the day-to-day operation at Jabot. Maybe if he went to work more than once a year?

Sharon and Jack fuss over how Traci must be doing. Should Sharon talk with Traci? Jack thinks it would be a good idea. As for Jack, he'll be fine. If Victor is meant to have Colleen's heart, then so be it. When Jack uses the words 'move on', he apologizes until Sharon says he's right; she's got to move on. By the way, Ashley named her baby Faith. Isn't that odd considering that was the name Sharon gave her baby? From the look on her face and at a loss for words, Sharon doesn't seem to think so.

Chance is pissed because Chloe is Billy's wife. She says there was "glitch" in the legal proceedings. Red tape. Nobody else is upset, so why is Chance? Chloe says she'll "fix" it "tomorrow" and then wonders where Chance is taking her out to. The new club that opened across town? Chance says it's a surprise.

Mac, does she ever work at the bar, informs Billy he needs to be working where he's appreciated and slips in that she serves soup at a shelter.

Victoria informs Phyllis that Victor is still alive as if to say Phyllis would rather he be dead. Not so, says Phyllis, who goes off to call the nanny to check on Summer. J.T. comes along to say he and Victoria needs to talk about "stuff", and that he can't believe she cheated on him. He would never, never do that to her. Victoria wants to wait until they know how Victor is coming along.

Nick and Ashley talk about so much sadness around Genoa City; that she and Victor aren't much of a married couple. No matter their problems, Victor will always be Faith's daddy.

In the chapel, Neil finds Nikki and notes that he's spent way too much time there. The last time he was there, Neil says he prayed that his family would heal. That said, he's sure the same thing will happen to Victor. One thing Neil knows for sure is that the "man upstairs has a plan". Nikki goes on and on about all the "pain" until Neil reminds her that Victor always bounces back. Yeah, but he's "so tired", she snivels. She's so scared too.

Nick eyeballs his new sister, who he says is beautiful.

Noah returns to Sharon's AC room as Jack leaves. If she's hungry, Noah says he'll order something from room service and intends to "take care" of Sharon. No, she doesn't want him making sacrifices. Yes, but she's his mommy; he'll always be there for her.

Nick recalls that Noah had a "grip" like Ashley's baby has - and the baby's is stronger! That's a Newman for you.

Jack spots Phyllis and asks, "Shouldn't you be in Switzerland?" No you fool, her father-in-law is near death. Oh well, Jack is worried about Traci to which Phyllis asks why he's in that "depressing" hospital. As they hug, Jack whines how "unfair" it is that Colleen died.

Billy mentions taking Chloe to a pig festival which she finds appalling. Yeah, but how about they do something he wants to do for a change? She might even like hanging around with Murphy. Nope. Chloe won't do it.

Billy talks with Mac about quitting his job, as back at GHM Jack beats himself up. Phyllis wants to know who Sharon is doing. She knows about the baby, but what about Sharon? Ah ha! Jack gets that she knows Nick is the daddy. Yeah, but why didn't Jack tell her? He couldn't because of Summer! The focus could not be split as Nick needed to be there for Summer and Phyllis.

Noah ordered fries and buttermilk dressing for Sharon. That'll put so fat on her skinny bones. Sharon spills the beans. Nick is the father of her dead baby. At the same time Nick is stunned. Ashley's baby is named Faith? A doctor appears outside to say that Victor's got the heart. Now they wait to see if the heart keeps ticking. And there he is - Victor wheeled out of OR as Jack looks up to the ceiling and says, "Way to go kid. Way to go."

Show #9247 - October 7, 2009 - Directed by: Peter Brinckerhoff

At home, Phyllis made him a "plate". It's in the fridge. Nick isn't hungry as Summer runs in to say "Daddy" and not much else. Phyllis tries to coaxes the kid into saying I love you, but Summer can't do it. No matter, Nick is happy to have them home.

In her room, Sharon is having a flashback to when she and Nick were going to buy their own house. There would be a sign out front "All Are Welcomed".

At the mausoleum, it's Chloe and Ether, who is dressed as the maid again when Chance arrives to pick up his date. Wait? Doesn't Chance live there? He does, but wanted to pick Chloe up like a "proper lady" should be.

Demon and Gloria, at his AC room, talk about who owns the painting, which is her and tonight the exchange for five million will be made.

At the Jitter Joint, Amber, Kevin and the other cheap hoods go over their latest crime plan. Kevin says the painting is going back to the museum so he can collect his reward and hire a lawyer. Listening to all this is Michael who tells them he knows what the hoods are up to, how they got the painting, and what they plan on doing with it.

Nick and Phyllis talk about the "progress" Summer is making. But damn, all that time in the Swiss Alps and still the kid can't say the simplest of words. Phyllis tells how Sharon played the martyr so that Nick and Phyllis could concentrate on Summer. Now, Phyllis wants to apologize for misjudging Sharon.

Looking in a box, Sharon fondles baby things all while having flashbacks of naming their daughter as per the dream Cassie had including the part where the daughter will be given a pony.

Daniel is trying to explain the plan which Michael says is low-level intellect. Didn't Kevin and Daniel and Jana and Amber learn anything from their last crime? Michael intends to surrender the painting to authorities. Oops, in comes Gloria who says the painting is hers. Michael wants to know where the painting is. Gloria assures him it's in a safe place. Okay then, when Gloria gets busted don't expect Michael to be her lawyer.

Talking with Daniel in a corner, Amber whines that they are broke. No problem, Daniel says they'll be rich once the painting deal is done. A deal that he intends to handle alone, so Amber needs to butt out.

At a country fair, it's Chance and Chloe and she's threatening to kick his ass at apple bobbing.

Alone with Summer, Nick explains that Phyllis had to go off, no doubt to see Sharon. No matter that the kid can't talk, Nick tells Summer she's made a lot of progress.

More with the hoods. Daniel telling Amber to stay away from Demon. How can he trust her? Gloria and the others argue over the painting as Michael orders to go make him a hot chocolate. Michael tells Kevin that is plan to use the reward money to help his brother, Ryder, is crazy. Well, isn't Kevin crazy? Lauren comes along to ask what's taking Michael so long, then leaves when Kevin says it's important that he and Michael talk alone. Pointing at Gloria and Daniel, Kevin says they won't get their hands on the painting. When Daniel comes over, Kevin makes nice. Whatever the plan was, Daniel says to give him a couple of hours and he'll have a new plan. Daniel gone, Gloria puts the squeeze on Kevin for the painting. He won't give it up.

And there she is - Amber in Demon's room telling him that she'll always pick Daniel over him.

Back at the fair, Chloe is cackling worse than a chicken as they bob for apples. Oh, such cheesy fun as Chloe wins a cheddar cheese hat.

Nick thanks Michael and Lauren who are taking Summer so that Nick and Phyllis can get Newman Enterprises back together. Is it apart? What the hell? Doesn't Phyllis have a magazine to run? Guess not. Lauren wonders where Phyllis is. Seeing Sharon? Nick gives them the bad news. The baby Sharon lost wasn't Jack's.

There's a knock on Sharon's door and it is, of course, Phyllis. They stare at each other before Phyllis says that when Summer was in a coma she prayed to God and asked that she be taken instead if one needed to die. How, oh how, is Sharon holding up so well? You just move on, Sharon says as Phyllis goes on to say she's sorry for misjudging Sharon, who isn't buying her remorse.

Gloria tells Kevin that Amber is giving the painting to Demon as they speak. Kevin says it can't be. To be sure, shouldn't he check the secret hiding place? By golly he should, and Gloria gets to see.

Demon has a gaudy necklace, a wedding gift, for Amber to wear. She doesn't want it, but the more she looks the more she likes as it could bring a nice price at a pawnshop. A knock at the door - it's Daniel!

At home, Chloe and Chance were apparent big prize winners at the fair. What a date it was. Chance loved being with her, and she him.

Sharon tells Phyllis she knows she feels relieved to have Nick back. They are "solid" now. Phyllis understands how Sharon feels and reminds her that the daughter Sharon lost was the sister of her daughter. All there is now is sadness of which she wouldn't wish on anyone.

Daniel wants Amber to give the necklace back. If she doesn't it's "over" between them. They argue until Daniel tells Demon he can have the bitch. That said, Daniel storms off.

The JJ is closed when Kevin comes in carrying the painting and looking for a place there to stash it. Gloria is inside too, but Kevin can't see her. He hides the painting behind the fake painting already on the wall and then leaves. With her own keys, Gloria enters via the patio door and takes the painting.

Chance and Chloe are swapping spit. He's getting excited, but wants to slow down because she's still married. He says it's not about her. It's about him wanting to wait and hopes she understands. She does. Good, then they can keep dating, right? And away Chance goes - up the stairs.

On her way out, Phyllis thanks Sharon for what she did for Summer when the kid was in the hospital.

Back at Nick's place, Fen-Fen and summer are going to a movie and Summer actually says, "Bye-bye daddy. I love you."

Show #9248 - October 8, 2009 - Directed by: Dean LaMont

A zombie like Noah arrives at the tack house to seek comfort from his dad. He can’t believe he lost another sister.

At GC Memorial, Jack is holding Faith as Ashley looks on from behind.  They discuss the miracle of her birth.  Jack breaks the news to her that he wasn’t the father to Sharon’s baby and, to top it off, Sharon lost her baby.

Sharon runs into Adam at the hospital and he gives his condolences on the loss of her baby.  She mentions she hasn’t heard from the funeral home regarding the ashes.  He tries but can’t quite find it within himself to comfort her when she becomes upset.

Traci. Steve, Billy and Mac are at the funeral home making the arrangements for Colleen’s burial.  The options become overwhelming and they ask for a break in the discussions.  Billy takes a stand and says this is not what Colleen would want.  He makes a suggestion that Traci thinks is wonderful and he is asked to take care of the arrangements.

Nikki and Victor are given the news from the doctor that he might even be up and out within two to three weeks.  The doctor credits Victor’s “wife” Nikki, and her devotion to him, for the progress Vic has made.  He jokes with her when she says she’s been getting a lot of that mistake lately.  He tells her we all have our crosses to bear.

Back to the discussions at the funeral home, Billy tells Traci that he’s not sure he can do it.  He is encouraged by all since he knew her best.

Sharon appreciates Adam’s concern.  They go on to discuss Adam’s father and how lucky they both are.  He apologizes again and this time stresses how sorry he is that her baby is gone.

Victor credits Nikki with setting everything in motion right from the start.  She tracked him down and got Ashley involved.  He refers to her as selfless.  There would be no “Faith” without her.

Ash apologizes for not being there for Jack.  He congratulates her for escaping the haunted house.  She wants to get her strength and a routine back first but then she wants to return to work.  Jack thinks it’s about time.  He’s so thrilled at the thought that tears well up in his eyes.  Ash wants to be confident that she can take care of both her girls no matter what gets thrown at them.  She encourages him to go see Traci and with that he does.

Adam has been waiting outside for Jack to leave and he enters Ashley’s room once that happens. He wonders how Jack is taking the loss of Sharon’s baby.  He tells her he ran into Sharon and asks Ashley about funeral homes in the area.  She questions his intentions and he assures her they are honorable.  Once he leaves her room he gets on his phone and summons a ride.

Noah and Nick are having some father/son moments and going over how he learned about his mom losing her baby.  Nick credits him with being more mature than he was at that age.  Noah isn’t so sure about that as he recounts his desire for emancipation.

Adam is at the funeral parlor giving the funeral director his sad tale of woe all the while sporting some Ray Charles look-alike sun glasses.  He pulls the old “Could I trouble you for a glass of water” routine and then, once he gets it, he spills it in order to have the room to himself.  With his blind man glasses removed, he searches the room and finds a small white container.  It’s labeled Lawton Mortuary and apparently, he says, “baby doe” also.  He quickly puts it in his sac and leaves.  Just as he is on his way, Billy comes out of a different room and spots Adam leaving.

Ashley is still in her room with Faith telling her they are going to have a wonderful life.  Nikki stops by to talk.  Ashley suggests they clear the air about the night of the rain storm. With that, Nikki remembers the night she left Genoa City and revealed to Victor that he is the love of her life.

Jack has managed to locate the rest of his family at the funeral parlor.  He lets them in on his ecstatic news about Ashley returning to work.  Jack wishes Traci would do the same, or at least move back to Genoa City.  This gives Billy an ideal opening and he asks to speak with Jack.  They leave the room together and Billy informs Jack of his decision to resign from Jabot.  Jack is stunned.

As if he never left, Adam is back at the hospital arranging delivery of the “package” to Sharon Abbott at the AC.  He stumbles on Sharon telling Victor about the loss of his grand daughter.  Victor offers to help and Sharon is grateful.  She tells him to focus on getting better.

Nikki asks Ashley if she “knows about that night”? Thinking she is talking about having almost hit her, Ash apologizes saying she didn’t know what she was doing.  Nikki wonders if they are having the same conversation.  Ashley goes on to explain about the close call and Nikki can’t believe it was her driving the car.

Billy goes on to explain why he is resigning.  Jack thinks Billy is crazy to leave something many would die to have.  Mac hears the commotion and comes to see what is going on.  Jack is getting more irate the more he lays out what Billy is giving up.  Is he going to go join the circus?  Is this just another attempt at running away?  This is no time to be making rash decisions.  Jack learns Mac supports Billy and continues with the insults or truth depending on how you look at it.

Nikki assures Ashley it wasn’t her that she hit.  She recounts having just broken off the wedding with Paul, having an unsettling conversation with Victor and being an absolute wreck.  The letter versus the call is explained too as she relates that she lost her cell phone while stumbling in the rain.  She was just scraped a bit as she jumped out of the way.  As Nikki looks on at Faith, she can’t help but remark how much Ashley’s daughter looks just like Nicholas did when he was born.

Noah is looking to make amends.  He wants to take Summer to the park.  They talk and the subject turns to Victor.  If Nick can forgive his dad then there’s no reason Noah can’t forgive his too.

Adam is eavesdropping on Sharon and Victor.  Sharon continues to insist she is done counting on other people.  Victor tells Sharon that what Nick feels for her will never go away.  She is the love of his life.  Adam receives confirmation by phone that the package arrived as requested.

Billy finds solace with Ashley and Faith.  He’s there to visit and inform her about the service.  He also tells her about his decision and Jack’s reaction.  Unlike Jack, Ashley understands.  She knows what it’s like to convince yourself you love something with all your heart only later to realize it wasn’t love at all, it was an obligation.  She encourages him to follow his own path and make himself happy.

Once Billy has left, Ashley tells Faith she hopes some day she will forgive her for what she is about to do.  She removes her wedding band.

Nikki finds Adam outside Victor’s room.  He tells her to not be so nice to him.  Nikki tells him in spite of all the bad things he has done, Victor loves him and wants to forgive him.

Nick is in his father’s room.  Victor asks after Phyllis and Summer.  Nick starts to tell Victor how he feels about what has happened in the last 48 hours. He becomes distraught with emotion.  He can’t face saying good bye to another daughter.  He almost lost his dad. Victor assures him he is alive and well.

Back at the Abbott mansion, Billy and Jack get into it.  Jack apologizes.  Billy wants to focus on planning CC’s memorial.  Mac has everything in order at the party store.  Steve has called everyone and asked them to dress colorfully.  Traci is amazed they haven’t fallen apart with all this.  A celebration of Colleen’s life has given her something to hope for.

Nikki walks in on Nick and Victor.  Nick knows he has so much to be thankful for.  He has more miracles in his life than one person is supposed to have.  He laments that he never got to see or hold his baby and wishes for just one more miracle.

Sharon is at the AC on the phone asking about the baby’s remains when she learns that there is no one on the staff at the psych hospital with the name Dr. Taylor.  Just then there is a knock at the door.  She opens the box.  Inside is the white box with the label “Baby Newman”.

Adam is at the ranch, reliving a conversation he had with his mother before he went off to Harvard.  She had so much hope about all the good he would do in the world.  He begins to climb the stairs to his room but breaks down and cries telling her he is sorry he let her down.

Show #9249 - October 9, 2009 - Directed by: Sally McDonald

Yikes! Katherine and Murphy are opening the door to Nick and Phyllis and they're the Carlton home dressed in bright colors following the burial of See See who was buried next to Brad and where Traci is right now saying her final good-byes. As for why Summer isn't there, Phyllis says she's with the nanny getting therapy.

At the Jitter Joint, Sharon is telling her mother that she didn't tell her about the baby and the but house because she was out of her mind. BoreUs wants to know who Nick is, adding that Phyllis won't feel the loss as Nick does. Sharon goes on to say she's accepted that she and Nick are "meant to be together."

Murphy, the valet, in charge of the dirty work, he thanks Billy for helping him with the chairs as Traci and Steve arrive. Jack and Ashley are there and Jack's mother sent flowers! Jack tells Ashley he so wishes she could have met Faith? The doorbell rings. It's Chloe and Mac lets her in. Word comes too that Jill can't make it due to previous, more important, obligations. Billy is somewhat pissed that Chloe is there because she wasn't "close to Colleen". And Billy was?

At God Have Mercy, Nikki is alarmed that a doctor is increasing Victor's meds. The doc has to tell her that he's the doctor and knows best. With the doc gone, Nikki can read Victor's mind. He's thinking of Colleen.

Elsewhere, Lily is being told she can't go to the memorial service/wake because her immune system is near failure.

Back at the wake, Mac is dressed in glow-in-the-dark red! Katherine blathers on about Billy's baby not being able to get to know "See See", as Kevin and the cheap hoods arrive. Daniel has with him a sketch of See See for Traci, who of course, wails like a stuck pig. Gosh, wasn't that nice of Daniel? On and on Traci goes. She wonders if Colleen had any idea how many people cared for her.

Sharon tells BoreUs about taking the baby's ashes up to the Abbott cabin where they'll be spread around! BoreUs is concerned that she's infatuated with Nick again, who at the time was hugging an also dressed in red Abby who has bawled so much she's run out of tissue. Ring-ring. It's BoreUs calling Nick to say she's sorry about the baby and that Sharon is on her way to the cabin with the ashes. Oh lord, BoreUs must be rolling in the dough since she can afford a cell phone, but not battery-operated wheelchair.

Cane is feeding Lily her meds. She's still pissed. Traci would have wanted her to be at the wake. Damn, damn. Lily wants to be left alone and Cane obeys.

Neil and Devon appear at the wake and tell Daniel that the doctor ordered Lily to stay away. Noah there too, Phyllis gives Nick permission to go to the cabin with Sharon.

Nikki informs Victor that the wake will be starting any moment now. Indeed it is. Billy is making the first speech. It's so hard losing someone they care about. Colleen was about "joy" and "making us laugh" and so they shall "honor" her life. Traci is next to tell where Colleen was born - right there in that house. And she's so "proud" of her girl who "taught me so much" about love. Colleen loved "completely" and, oh gag us with a spoon. Bawling more, Traci says Colleen is now an angel making "miracles" in the sky. Victoria arrives and has with her a letter from Victor she wants to read. Billy objects, but Traci wants to hear it.

Back at GHM, Victor mumbles about his good fortune.

Victoria reads the letter. Victor mourns their loss. In the midst of their pain they had the good sense to give him Colleen's heart and he'll never forget her especially when he's holding his new baby. Up next, Daniel hacks about the good things Colleen did for him; teaching him how to read and write. Why, she even changed his life. Jack's turn, he says he couldn't say no to Colleen's smile. Oh. My. God! Jack recalls a time when Colleen wanted him to wake up with her and exercise. Neil speaks too and says that he considered Colleen part of his family. Then he tells of Lily having cancer and Colleen being there for her and making Lily laugh. They went shopping for wigs too! Neil knows deep in his heart that Colleen will continue looking out for his girl.

There's also talk of how Victor will take good care of Colleen's heart as Nikki tells the great man of an article in the newspaper speculating on why he's in the hospital and - code blue - Victor goes into another fit. Nikki screams for a doctor.

Back at the wake, Billy bemoans the fact the Victor has Colleen's heart. Katherine digs up the name John Abbott, who she claims to miss so much. She knows too that Colleen is now in "good hands". Kevin turn to speak, he says that giving Colleen's heart away was a good thing. She was too a good person; she forgave her sexual predators and those who tried to burn her alive inside a walk-in freezer.

Oh God, what's next? People saying "Colleen bless you" whenever someone sneezes?

Abby informs Billy that she can't be sorry that Victor is alive. He's fighting for his life and she needs him. Kevin looks at the sketch Billy drew and says it befuddles him before heaping more praise on Colleen and her "beauty". If only everyone could see the world like she did. But she's "not really gone". Her spirit lives within them. Cue the music! Look close and you will see an angel. Hush, now don't you cry.

Back home, Neil presents Lily with red balloon and she takes it outside to let it go as did others at the wake and we see Nikki at the hospital with her hand over her mouth and Sharon alone in the cabin when there's a knock on the door. Guess who?
