What can you say about the return some twenty years
later of Phillip Chancellor III? Did you love when
Katherine Chancellor went down in flames again? One
of these days I swear nobody will be around to catch
her and she'll break a hip. Getting up there in
years as I am, Genoa City is looking better and
better as the place to live with its immediate
ambulance service. Neil Winters, at the Chancellor
Mausoleum kissing the old lady's ass, hadn't hung up
the phone and what sirens could be heard in the
background. Now that, is speedy service. The same
cannot be said about the God Have Mercy Medical
Center.
Katherine's extremely bad luck in high gear, she got
stuck with witchdoctor Olivia Winters, who reported
Katherine had suffered a stroke and not five minutes
later left the patient so as to handle yet another
emergency. Then again, when you've had a stoke, when
you've been at the GHM less than an hour and say you
feel "fine", and can scream at people outside to get
inside, then why should your doctor feel compelled
to keep an eye on you, or keep bickering family
members out of the room as even Nina Webster
confessed there they were again, at the hospital
"filled with rage and guilt".
Are you understanding either what granddaughter Mac
Browning returned to the mausoleum for? Katherine's
"stuff"? What stuff would that be and wouldn't the
maid be the best person to handle that task? Surely
Ether Valentine knows the stuff Katherine needs and
I'm thinking Depends, for one thing. And why did
Jill Abbott have to tell Olivia that the real
Phillip is back from the proverbial grave? Is this
something you'd want getting around town? Any bets
there will be days ahead when people seeing Phillip
will ask if he isn't Phillip Chancellor like they
did when Adam Wilson came back as Victor Newman JR.,
but everyone went along with calling him Adam
anyway?
The big questions are how Phillip gained access to
the mausoleum. Did Cane Ashby leave the backdoor
unlocked? Isn't the place crawling with security?
And now that Cane isn't Phillip will people make the
distinction when running into him? And there they go
again, inflicting their custom brands of pain and
saying they never meant to cause anyone pain. What,
exactly, did Phillip think would happen when his
mother found out he isn't dead? Why on earth would
Katherine slam Phillip for faking his death when
she's done the same thing at least twice. Give him
credit though, Phillip faked it for longer than
anyone so far.
Mr. Chancellor isn't fooling me with his pretending
to be wearing the pants in the family. That scene
outside Katherine's room with Phillip was laughable.
I'm the new Mrs. Chancellor. You got some 'splaining
to do, boy. So don't be going anywhere. Or what?
You'll hit me with your purse?
