Whomever Sharon Collin's shrink is it might be a
good idea to check and see if she, or he, or it
concurs with Sharon's opinion that since
incarceration she's made progress. It could be
another of those crazy things, but anyone having
come as far as Sharon claims would have seen where
she came from and that going back isn't a good idea.
Then again Sharon never was too bright. For her to
call former husband, still pining away for father of
her baby, Nick Newman to say she's heard of the
current month's tragedy and wants to be kept in the
loop is just plain crazy.
Equally insane was Nick leaving his father's death
bed to bring Sharon up to speed only to have her ask
what the hell he was doing at the Farm Funny. "Hey
bitch, don't they clean your ears here? I just told
you why I'm here," Nick did not say because, well,
he's a dumb shit like the rest of the loons in this
city.
While it's hard to pick just one, the strangest damn
thing of all was when Nick called pretend private
eye Paul Williams only to get voicemail. It's insane
because only hours ago Paul's phone was either
ringing off the hook, or he was giving step-by-step
details pertaining to his hunt for the off the wall
Patty Williams, who happens to be his sister, who
happens to be indirectly responsible for the death
of the, ahem, woman whom Nikki plans to ask the
family of for it's permission to harvest the dead
one's heart.
Plus, considering it was only by some 11th hour
fluke that Paul got a mysterious text message
leading him to Nikki's location, with Nikki rushing
off leaving him alone again, wouldn't Paul have
thought, "Damn that woman's gone again. What if she
gets lost, or hit by a bus? What if when I get back
to Genoa City she's not there and her family asks
where the hell Nikki is? Won't I look like a fool?
Better keep my phone on then in case they call
asking for moment-by-moment progress.
Not that Paul did any of this except turn his phone
off, or let important messages go to VM, had he been
talking to someone at the time of Nick's call,
wouldn't he have looked at Caller ID?

Ah shit, just another Newman calling. Pesky
bastards.
Who else is interested in how Colleen Carlton's
somewhat used, but new to Victor Newman, heart will
soon beat in the great man's chest? Before bawling
and whining and carrying on about having to pull the
plug on her daughter, shouldn't Traci Abbott
Connelly have considered donating the organs to
science, or at least to some poor soul on the
waiting list for such things? If, as the family
keeps saying, Colleen was a gift to mankind,
wouldn't Colleen have long ago checked organ donor
on her driver's license application and therefore
doctors would already know she's a donor and have
the necessary paperwork ready for Traci to sign?
Not that any of this mattered, those who were paying
the slightest bit attention to Traci, and the freaks
who came by to gawk at Colleen, including the could
barely walk after her chemo treatment Lily Ashby
dressed up for Halloween, would have seen that the
ventilator plugged into Colleen wasn't even on!
