In my more subdued moments of delighting in the adulterous whinings of
greasy Genoa City residents, I often wonder if there is some limit that will
eventually snap and wipe them out as a species such as the California brown
bear after one too many crazy relatives, addictions, adulterous affairs,
teen boy fetishes, babies born and given to other women while the mothers
were passed out and/or told by their corrupt doctors that the babies were
DOA.
Of course I'm thinking about crazy Ashley Newman getting the baby born to
Sharon Collins, and the slut Sharon too stupid to know that Ashley never
gave birth, and in fact nobody actually saw Ashley in an elevator with Jack
Abbott cutting the wee one from her vagina with a pocket knife. I am
thinking too of what a bitch Ashley is. Not that I haven't always thought
that, there's never been a time anyone could feel an iota of empathy toward
this sad excuse for a woman which may explain why so many have thought she's
really a man.
The ability to turn love off and on at the flip of a switch in her twisted
head, Ashley may out do herself when she refuses to approve of giving her
near death husband a new, albeit black, heart. You must have heard the
story. Colleen Carlton soon to be dead, Victor Newman will get first crack
at her heart. An election will be held with all members of the Abbott
family, to which Colleen was doomed to be a part of, electing not to give
Victor the heart. Then, in some fluke of wanting to do the right thing,
Traci Abbott Connelly will give Victor's young daughter, Abby Carlton
Newman, the power of life and death.
Now please, no snickers from the peanut gallery about how no matter their
wealth, the rich don't get to make decisions like this. A human heart is not
something to be given away like a recipe for Grandma's cheese cake. There
are laws governing this sort of thing and that's assuming the law applies in
Genoa City, which it doesn't as we've seen time and again most recently with
Gloria and Jeff Bardwell getting away with two attempts at blackmail. And
now Gloria is bawling how she can't pay the rent and must - gasp - use pay
phones of which her crazy, criminal son is simply appalled.
Another story entirely, what's most appalling is that these pagans have the
gall to ask God for help. Tragedy of the week arrives, there they are
praying. Are they ever seen thanking God when he comes through? No. Thank
God, He didn't grant Traci's wish that Colleen live. I wouldn't have either.
Not after the scene Traci made at the God Have Mercy Medical Center. Her
spewing that if only Colleen gets to live they'll all be "family" again.
