Two things bothering me today which I'm sure is a lesser number than the
things wrong with the people in Genoa City bothering you. First, are we
supposed to feel sorry for Summer Newman? That the five-year-old is brain
damaged from ingesting some peanut butter spittle? Second, are we supposed
to feel sorry that Sharon Collins is in a "psychiatric facility"?
You know the deal on this so-called facility. It's nothing more than a
country club/resort. For all the trouble involved it would have been cheaper
to have stashed the bitch in a room at the Athletic Supporter Hotel. And
where exactly is this facility located such that her small circle of friends
and enemies can drop by during their lunch hours? Why does Nick Newman call
the facility a "psych ward"? Is it the same ward where Kevin and Jana Fisher
served time?
If it's true there's something wrong with Sharon's head, and there is, and
she was thought to be a kleptomaniac and was supposed to pay a debt to
society for her crimes, why is it that her mother can show up to overhear
the tail end of a rare meeting she was having with a therapist? Are the
walls paper-thin? The doors left ajar? If the therapist is demanding Sharon
uphold her end of the court order that sent her away and Sharon doesn't,
will it mean Sharon won't be free to leave in a month? If she does leave
against orders, will an order for her arrest be issued? Will the GCPD even
be able to find her? The cops are having a hard time locating Patty Williams
and that's one crazy bitch.
