Last but by no means least, raise your hand if you
think something very bad should happen to Jack. God
should strike him dead for all the lies he's
spewing. For one, Victor did not want the blind Hope
Adams to be "perfect". Hope willingly went along
with the "risky" eye surgery Jack spoke of, and
failed to mention that he had no qualms when love of
his life Luan Volein was treated with experimental
drugs by didn't know what was wrong with her Dr. Toe
Jam.
Victor did not, as Jack said, make Hope "suffer"
financially. She did just fine running a Kansas farm
by herself and raising the now bastard son, Adam.
For all his scheming, and looking forward to making
lots of money from the great story Jack plans to
publish about Victor's Mexican adventure, Adam seems
to have forgotten who paid for his Harvard
education. While he bitches about not being able to
find a job, Adam could be applying at McDonald's. He
could be applying for unemployment, but you know how
that works in Genoa City. The rich and elite don't
ask for handouts from the government. They don't
take lowly jobs meant for the uneducated and elderly
and minorities unless so ordered by a court. Even
then they rarely complete their community service
sentences, or check with parole officers when placed
on probation for their many crimes.
Yeah, Jack knows how it is. He knows that Victor put
black sheep sister Ashley Abbott in a nut house. He
conveniently forgets that Ashley was off her rocker
back then after killing number #1 of two babies.
Jack didn't mention that Ashley has been a nut job
most of her adult life, or that Victor saved Ashley
from being raped.
Injecting Jack's bullshit directly into his middle
eye, Adam asked however does Victor get away with
it. "Because he can," Jack sneered. My, my. How does
Jack get away with his evil? How is it he can say
that while married to Nikki it was Victor who caused
her to fall down a flight of stairs resulting in the
loss of their baby? How can Jack not be held
accountable for Lauren Baldwin's fall from the
Abbott mansion stairs when Jack's actor friend Wally
Wallingford scared Lauren half to death?
Speaking of Lauren, how awful it must be for her now
strapped with an angry teenager? Imagine the fear
Lauren feels that she might have to look Eden
Baldwin straight into the eyes and tell her - the
horrible truth! She'd much prefer that Eden's father
handle that task, but Lowell Baldwin is locked up.
He's haunted by his terrorist past, he knew that
back in the sixties he couldn't get a fair trial.
Surely he would have been found guilty of blowing up
a bank and killing the janitor, but he was a mad at
the establishment hippy. Doesn't that count for
something? Should he be forgiven? Isn't there a
pedophile priest around who will bless him and tell
him to go free and sin no more?
Wouldn't that make Eden happy? Wouldn't it remove
from the bright light of a child's tantalizing
innocence, thus making Eden appear just as old and
soiled and sinful as everyone else which she already
is? Wouldn't it be a tragedy if Eden was to watch
TV, or go on the Internet, and read about Lowell's
criminal past which is only slightly worse than
Lauren's criminal past? Can it be that if Eden had
access she could Google 'Lowell Baldwin' and a
million hits would pop up? If Eden was to type in
'Fenmore Baldwin' would she find the young boy had
been sold to the neighbor? Where does Lauren stash
this kid when he's not being used for a plot device?
With Michael out throwing fits and beckoning to
Victor's every call, Lauren didn't take Fen-Fen to
the jail with her - did she? She took Eden, but
where was the kid? With the neighbor lady? Is this
woman being paid to stay home waiting for the
inevitable knock on the door? Could you watch Fen?
I'm afraid to leave him home because he might get on
the Internet and learn about his creepy, criminal,
dysfunctional family.
