If you've been in need of a good brain teaser I've
got one. How did Eden Baldwin know where to find her
daddy, Lowell? And yes, her name is 'Eden' because
what daughter of a man nicknamed 'River', a man
still living in the hippy sixties, wouldn't be? It's
like what child of Michael and Lauren Baldwin
wouldn't be named 'Fenmore' as a tribute to his
mother's maiden name. We've gone over this before,
but wait until Fenmore, AKA, 'Fen', enters school.
The other kids are gonna be beating his ass every
day.
Before leaving the commune did Lowell call Eden and
tell her to meet him in Genoa City? As I understand
it, Lowell has never been to this city before, but
let's say he did before becoming a terrorist.
"Sweetheart, there's a diner adjacent to the bus
depot. I'll be waiting there when you arrive. See
you soon."
Or perhaps Lowell didn't talk with Eden. She just
happened to be on a quest to find daddy like Michael
has. Like Michael, she's been searching for
"closure" although from the outset that's not what
Michael wanted. Without a clue, without a wedding to
attend at a randomly selected circus tent in
California where Lowell just happened to have a
license to marry people, Eden threw a dart at a map
one day and it stuck on GC. At the diner earlier
long enough to know Lowell was there, Eden must have
left without speaking with him because it was only
after Lowell was arrested that she returned to ask
employees what had happened to the man who had been
there earlier.
If you agree that's pretty much the way it went
down, doesn't that pose at least one question? Let's
try for two. How did Eden know where to find Michael
Baldwin? Okay, let's go for six. How did she get
into Michael's apartment building? Isn't it a secured
building given that Lauren was so scared that
somebody was going to come and eat Fen? Do the Baldwin's
really leave a key over the door? Isn't there a
peephole in the door? The way Eden pounded on it
yesterday, when it hadn't been so long ago that the
FBI was there asking questions, and Lauren was still
sweating from having got away from the diner before
the FBI raided it, shouldn't one of them looked
before opening the door?
Now the question arises, how did Eden know Michael
was to blame for Lowell's arrest? Did she go to the
jail? Did Lowell tell her and where Michael could be
found? How long has she known that Michael is her
half-brother and why wait for a crisis before making
contact with him? It's not like Michael is hard to
find.
