There is too apparently instant bail. Funny how that
works. Others recently arrested have had to be
granted emergency bail hearings. But then they had
Michael for a lawyer. Could Brad Carlton have had a
Get Out Of Jail Free card? Is that why he's on the
street threatening and intimidating Jill Abbott?
Arrested for money laundering, Brad was questioned
and released. No pesky court appearances for him,
the FBI didn't bother looking into his past. It
would seem the FBI doesn't know Brad is really
George Kaplan and that he killed two men. The
conspiracy still being kept secret by J.T. and
Victoria Hellstrom and Paul Williams, what's most
important to the FBI is that money was wired from
the offices of Jabot Cosmetics and a paper trail
left behind? Does this sound like something a master
criminal would do? Does it matter that gambler David
Chow placed bets from Jabot? Who could have
prevented it? Nikki Chow? Brad? Jill? What is the
connection? Who on the other end is being
persecuted?
Nobody? The Securities and Exchange Commission is
conducting interviews with former Jabot employees at
Jabot and bellowing for anyone to hear what Nikki
knew and when she knew it? If Brad has been
arrested, and he has, why isn't the SEC questioning
him?
What's this bullshit that people are asking
questions about what Victor Newman did when he was
in Mexico? Outside Nikki, who of any importance is
asking? So what if Victor killed Walter Palin?
Where's the proof? Was an autopsy conducted on
Palin's body? Shouldn't the question be who Palin
killed?
And why are we the ones who must always ask these
questions? Why can't there be the slightest hint of
continuity when it comes to the people and events in
Genoa City?
Why must Jack and Sharon Abbott continually go
through their dog and pony show? Christ, they're
become as bad as the Bardwell's with their
I-Can't-Trust-You crap. Waa-waa. Jack got more
Newman money than he'll ever be able to spend as the
result of the magazine buyout, yet there he is in
his "mansion" wailing about not having anything and
why can't Sharon write him a letter like she wrote
former hubby Nick? On and on they went yesterday
only to conclude it's all good. Jack still loves
Sharon, Sharon still loves Jack. Ain't it sweet?
Ain't it something that Jack had the gall to say he
hates that former wife Phyllis cheated on him? Jack
must have erased from memory the time he screwed his
father's wife right under daddy's roof and that John
Abbott saw his naked ass.
I'm guessing here that Adam Wilson's reason for
applying for work at Jabot was part of a plan he and
Brad have concocted to get even with Victor, but if
it was Adam didn't tell Brad about not getting the
job. I'm almost certain too that when Adam
introduced himself to Jabot CEO Cane Ashby as "Adam
Wilson" Cane made a reference to him being Victor's
son as if the entire city is again confused about
Adam because his name changes so often. Some pundits
have sputtered about Cane not having much power at
Jabot - in that he must kowtow to granny Katherine
Chancellor - but what I want to know is why the CEO
is conducting job interviews, and how it is that
Cane has so much free time on his hands that he can
bounce over to the Jitter Joint where he complains
to mommy Jill that granny overrules his decision
making. It wouldn't be that Cane is not qualified to
be CEO of anything - would it?
With all the inexperience and absentee employees
it's a wonder Jabot hasn't folded by now. It's
almost as bad as Newman Enterprises honcho Neil
Winters rehiring girlfriend Karen Taylor. Oh, but
Neil needs to surround himself with the "best"
people who won't make him look like the fool he is.
Talk about landing on your feet, how about Karen
jumping into the self-defense business? Is she
renting space at the Athletic Supporter Hotel where
she's holding classes? Where did the students come
from and what will they do now that Karen has
accepted her old NE job back? Who taught the class
before Karen came along and really, would you take
self-defense lessons from a woman so easily defeated
by Neil's spit?
