How amazing was it that a suspicious of Gloria Jeff
Bardwell would decide to throw a "Grandma Day at the
park" surprise for her at which it would have been
nice to have daughter-in-law Lauren Baldwin and her
son attend so long as Michael could help put the
party together? Wouldn't it have been easier to just
follow Gloria to see what she's up to? Given that
these two can't trust each, what would make Gloria
think that Jeff would buy her Lauren is sick crap?
Does Jeff not have a key to the Baldwin apartment
too? Can't practically anyone gain access to the
place and stay for as long as they like despite
having been told to leave?
That letter Sharon Abbott wrote to her former
husband and foolishly left under a pillow at the
Abbott "mansion"? You knew Jack Abbott would find it
and already he was accusing his young wife of
betrayal. Still loves her though. Knows too that
ex-wife Phyllis Newman still loves her man, but
wasted no time talking the talking letter to
Phyllis. Actually, talking letters are convenient.
Who wants to read when they can be told what they're
reading? Alas, for all the distrust and sputtering
"what else is she lying about", Phyllis and Jack
will grill their mates and compare notes later. It
is, we've gathered all along, the painful process of
this foursome going back to the husbands and wives
they swapped before going into business together.
Then there's blowup doll Colleen Carlton stripping
before - the wasn't much interested in having sex
with her only friend when Lily Winters was married
to him - Daniel Romalotti. Would she turn him on?
Would he nail her and while she was snoozing sketch
her naked likeness? Bet your ass he would, and he
did. Ran straight to one and only pal Kevin Fisher
he did to brag about it. It's only a wonder Kevin
didn't ask which was tighter? Colleen, or the
already had two kids Amber Moore? Nevertheless,
Daniel was torn between two lovers and when Kevin
couldn't choose the best woman for him, because the
girl Kevin attempted to kill once and his now crazy
wife Jana tried to kill a second time is now Kevin's
friend, Daniel made his choice.
It was only by some miracle that learning of her
father's arrest Colleen left her cellphone behind.
She rushed to where Brad Carlton was being detained
and yet when it was he who had called his daughter,
Brad didn't want to talk about his arrest but rather
what's going on with Colleen because he hasn't seen
her for so long. You'd know too that a daughter wouldn't
be distressed over this development, would tell of
her supposed sexual conquest, and then ditch daddy
so as to return to lover's boy crib in the time it
took Daniel to haul his ass to the Jitter Joint and
back. If this incredible timing hadn't been possible
Colleen might never know that she was the chosen
one. It shall be Colleen who goes to Daniel's New
York art show unless between now and then he doesn't
become President of the United States because you
know, in Genoa City, anything is possible. Daniel
could just wake up one day, say he's the President, and
nobody will question it. Phyllis and the gang will
go around handing out cigars and before you know it
Daniel will be taking bribes from lobbyists and
waging wars.

fashion/style
