Many of you may have heard that after battling lung
cancer, my wife, Gail died at home Sunday night in
my arms.
Because I've always used writing about the people
and events in Genoa City as a sort of therapy, I'm
making an attempt to maintain my composure by
pretending that Gail is downstairs and in a few
minutes will call up to ask if I'm still punishing
myself by trying to understand, for example, why
Ashley Abbott is coming back.
Yes friends, the original back-stabbing,
baby-killing, sperm-stealing bitch should show up by
the end of the month. With Victor Newman said to be
embarking on a trip to Paris, with reports last week
that she's in Europe, I'm assuming that's where
Ashley will first run into the great man. Let us
pray she won't return with him and worm her way into
the Newman Ponderosa with her kid, Abby Carlton.
If they was to become a family, it sure could make
life miserable for Brad Carlton, however. Not so
concerned about Abby as he once was, having Victor's
biological child with her real father would no doubt
piss Brad off. Surely, with Victor aware of what's
going on at Newman Enterprises, he won't allow Brad
to remain employed there, and out of Jabot Cosmetics
too, what will Brad do? Become a professional
gambler? File for unemployment?
We'll find out soon enough because new NE CEO Neil
Winters demanded, and got today, Brad's resignation in
writing. I'd congratulate Neil for having a pair of
balls, except that to get Brad where he wanted him,
Neil put in writing that he'll keep Brad's criminal
history under wraps! Oh my, nothing like proof of conspiracy
to conceal a crime. Furthermore, Neil showed he's an
ass by going all the way to the Newman Ponderosa to
ask how Victor wants to be reported to. Phone, or
email? Gosh Neil, why didn't you ask coffee or tea
for all the sense that made. Neil, my man, when
you've been made CEO, if the man upstairs wants to
know what's going on, you won't have to go to him,
he'll come to you. Just ask Jill Abbott.
And then, to say that he wants to be surrounded by
people who can make him look good, who does Neil ask
to come back to work for him? That whiny bitch,
Victoria Hellstrom, who today was moaning/groaning
that since she's become unemployed she doesn't know
what she'll do. Has she considered staying home and
raising her baby? Wasn't that baby supposed to be
the "miracle" she so desperately wanted?
With J.T. Hellstrom running around playing bouncer,
who's watching their kid?
Though you had to laugh when Estella, the Newman
maid, came crying to Miss Vikky and the old cow
Nikki. Massa Victor fired the entire staff! What
will the poor slave do? Where will they go? Have
these people heard of unemployment? Would it be so
goddamn hard if just once someone who has lost their
job in the city collected unemployment and learned
what it's like for the rest of us who've been
unemployed?
