Were you maybe thinking that if your father had just
forgiven you, and your sister, for butting into his
personal life and trashing his dead wife, it might
not be smart to call daddy "selfish"? Yet that's
what Nick did today when Victor wouldn't tell him
about the major changes he's got planned for the
empire and those associated with it. Nick had a
friggin' fit. Waa waa, Daddy is putting up walls
again.
Too bad, Victor didn't take Nick over his knee. He
did throw both brats out of the house, however,
including that good for nothing weasel Victor Adam
Newman who had returned to pack his crap. Told that
his junk will be sent to him, Victor did not give
Adam hell for putting Zapato the dog in a kennel.
What alleged farm boy would do such a thing? Until
today, surely the maid or the chef or any of
Victor's personal servants would have been willing
to sit Zapato.
Now that Zapato is back, Victor better not ditch the
mutt again. When he travels to Paris, Victor better
take the dog too because a real dog owner does not
go far without his best friend, and at this point
Zapato is the only friend Victor has. It's not
likely that the maid will be able to watch Zapato
because Victor fired the lot of them!
Part of the all new and improved Victor Newman and
Newman Enterprises, somewhere along the line Victor
found time to give an interview with the local TV
station. Breaking into regular programming at just
the time televisions everywhere were turned on, the
station said that the video was on its way to the
station. In the time it took to re-air the Jack
interview in which Jack said that Victor has a black
hole for a heart, the videotape had been cleared for
broadcast and was of no news value.
Under the control of reinstated No. 2 man Neil
Winters, the empire shall go on. The future looks
bright; shareholders need not panic; employees like
Winters need not ask why they continue working for a
company constantly in turmoil. Furthermore, Victor
said he's going into private seclusion. There shall
be no interviews; no articles written about him as
if he has the power to decree such matters just like
he could take away VAN's new name and order that
Victor Adam is again Adam Wilson.
There in Victor's office, Neil was snickering and
calling the outcast Newman "Adam Wilson" like a
first-grade school boy calling another queer. This,
as summoned queer boy J.T. Hellstrom, as head of
security, was told to escort VAN from the building
and VAN, supposedly the rugged farm boy, did not
drop J.T. like a bad habit.
Speaking of bad, how cute was it that Kevin Fisher
has realized that he and his crazy wife have become
"mainstream"? How is it that they are losing their
"irony", and couldn't he go back to breaking laws,
setting restaurants on fire, and giving young girls
STD's? Couldn't crazy Jana Fisher kill a few more
people? Couldn't she stop spewing her peace and love
bullshit? Isn't it about time for the tumor in
what's left of her brain to wake up and perhaps
require rich mama-in-law Gloria Bardwell to pay for
the operation? Wasn't it just the craziest damn
thing that Gloria would say she'll handle all the
dirty in her quest to overthrow Jabot Cosmetics?
Oh hell, let's go one better. Stay tuned as tomorrow
Victor warns Nikki Chow that if she doesn't get off
the Ponderosa he'll call the "police".
What police? The generally useless two-man GCPD?
What happened to all the security Victor keeps
around to guard the Ponderosa? Did he fire them
before Nikki arrived to throw a chair through the
window? Does Victor not have that gun he once
pointed at her during an epileptic fit? Can't you
sense the patriotism? The NRA cheering Victor on?
Pull the damn trigger! Shoot the fat cow; she
obviously has mad cow disease. Nothing would say
America more than a McDonald's McRib sandwich dipped
in pure lard and cooked over a Hummer's exhaust pipe
than for the great man to put this woman out of her
misery.
But, but, you say Victor might be charged with
murder? And your point would be - prison? No way,
Jose. With Michael Baldwin as his lawyer, Victor
would be out of prison so fast it would make
Phyllis' head spin.
