The events in GC giving me a case of the runs
yesterday, I didn't get to comment on the
events in Mexico, or Victoria Hellstrom's bitch that
she hasn't heard from Nikki Chow in two whole days.
And who's fault would that be? Brother Nick who let
Nikki get away from him and did not return to Mexico
to fetch her because that's PI Paul's job?
What about Paul showing up a day late and a dollar
short with photos of Nikki and the can't find him
Victor Newman which he gave to the now there search
team? The team left Genoa City long before Paul did
and didn't have with it a photo of who it was
looking for? Apparently not checking into a hotel
this time, Nikki is holed up in Victor's jabba hut
and that creepy looking girl is there with food
asking very personal questions that no child would
ask. Alas, tired of waiting for her man, Nikki left
the hut and instructions for the girl - if she
should see Victor - to tell him she's gone home!
Speaking of kids, you knew, and I wrote at the
outset, that Nick and Victoria would forgive Victor.
Wasn't that sweet? Yes, Victor forgave Nick for
stabbing him the back. Yes, Victor spent millions on
medical treatment when Victoria was in a coma.
Wasn't that nice of him? Not why didn't they
appreciate daddy when he was alive, why didn't daddy
show them more of his good side when he was alive?
Can you believe these ungrateful trolls?
Returning to the seedy bar, Nikki found Paul trying
to bribe the bartender for information on her
whereabouts? He didn't walk along the beach looking
for clues, or maybe spy the hut? The search team
didn't spy the hut, but the little girl knew where
to go? Yes, "Thank God" Nikki is safe because if her
life depending on Paul she'd be dead by now. And for
all that has happened, Nikki's prime concern is how
she'll tell the children? When will this old cow get
it through her head? They aren't children in the
true sense.
Naturally, it must be asked why two people humping
on the living room soft either didn't lock the door,
or were in such a sexual frenzy they didn't hear
Victor using his key. Naturally too, VAN would jump
out of his skin and say, "Dad! You're alive!" He did
not ask, "Has anyone else seen you? Is the city
abuzz with news of your greatly exaggerated death?
Are reporters outside? Film at eleven?"
How is it too that Michael Baldwin would be summoned
to the Ponderosa and not know who summoned him? Can
it be true that VAN ordered Zapato the dog sent to a
kennel and Attila the maid didn't tell anyone? After
all this time Heather Stevens doesn't have a home of
her own and with Victor back must book a room at the
Athletic Supporter? How is it too that Michael can
have a Mexican-issued death certificate revoked?
Will it take a simple video conference to make this
happen? "As you can see Mr. Ambassador, I am very
much alive. Please instruct whoever issues death
certificates to cancel mine."
They don't call him the great man for nothing which
may explain why Victor also decreed that VAN is no
longer Victor Adam Newman, but "Adam Wilson" again.
The good thing being that those who may have thought
to start calling Adam VAN, won't have to now.
