Oh Lord, was that a first for Genoa City? Sharon Collins seeks, is given a job at Useless Style Rag, and before she's even reported for work she's handing in her resignation? Whatever works, it damn sure ain't Sharon working 'cause we knew all along she doesn't need to work. Does anyone know what she would have done at the rag had she actually worked a minute or two? Her decision to turn the job down was based on the latest issue of USR which her son picked up at a local gas station and we all know only the highest of classy rags are found at gas stations even if said stations are low-end convenience stores. Odd too that this rag has always looked more like a Sears catalog than a magazine, Sharon was appalled to see that USR publisher Billy Abbott had taken his best shot at smearing former had-the-hots-for father-in-law Victor Newman. Might as well try, others have done a far better job including Leanna Love who wrote the book on discrediting the great man.

Speaking of Leanna, does anyone recall that she ever had sex with a man? She didn't do it with Victor, not literally anyway. Based on a recent personal experience, I was thinking there's only one woman in the world who doesn't like having sex and I'd been dumb enough to fall for her. While we're on the subject, you knew that in Belgium there are cardiac rehab centers where heart transplant patients can "speed up the healing process", right? Belgium is apparently the ying to the Swiss Alps yang where privileged children are sent to have their aging process sped up. Who can forget a not much older than ten Nick Newman being sent away only to return six months later as a teenager with raging hormones such that only Sharon could control.

And since we're talking nit-wits, how about piano teeth squealing to daddy Victor that Billy has been a very naughty boy? Did you expect Nick would huff and puff and blow himself up? This from someone who tried so hard to have his own father sent to prison. Funny, what a new heart, even a black one such that Colleen "See See" Carlton's is, has done for the old fart. First Victor lets his bitch off the hook, then he refuses to get even with Billy. Nick almost messed his diapers. Daddy won't seek revenge? By God, if Victor won't, Nick will, and so he did, but as usual proved what an ignorant ass he is in the process.

True it seems, Victor gave Nick the building USR is housed in and Billy, not much brighter than Nick, in his haste to buy a rag, didn't have a lawyer go over the fine print. The part in the legal document, surely there's a legal document, where it says Nick owns the building and as such Billy is on notice that he's got fifteen minutes to vacate the building. Is this not the dumbest thing you ever did hear? God help Billy, hopefully he knows from buying old man Murphy Chancellor's trailer that you can't go around ordering people to vacate without written notice and even then Billy would have at least thirty days. Ah, but this is more of Nick's posturing, like when he doesn't like someone he'll order them out of Genoa City.
