Were we hearing things? Did Nick Newman, or Sharon Collins, say it was "seven" years ago that they lost a baby? We checked, and it wasn't seven. Seven years ago Sharon was screwing stable boy Diego Guittierez and that mess was after she'd lost the baby the year before. Okay, so we checked again and they did say "eight", but who can feel sorry for Sharon given that she hadn't grieved more than an hour before spreading her legs for Diego.

As we did here at the Daze yesterday, let's go to the videotape. It was January 29, 2002, when this article [edited] first appeared in the GCN: Then we jump months to August that year.

With Friends Like These

Nick Newman, by no means an innocent victim, doesn't deserve to be hounded day in and day out by a wife blaming him for the death of her baby. If Sharon hadn't been wearing high-heels around the house the odds are she wouldn't have fallen that day. It cannot go without saying that she didn't give a rats ass about the baby. If she had, the baby would have been given a name. It was at one point a living human.

Since she cannot get over the baby's death it's a good thing Mrs. Newman doesn't know exactly how many times her husband cheated on her with Grace Turner. If she knew, she'd be throwing those affairs in Nick's face too.

While it's true Mrs. Newman was more interested in the Newman money than her daughter, little Cassie Newman needs a good spanking for turning on her. If not for Sharon, the kid would still be living in Madison with her old granny and playing with her one friend, Cindy the doll.

The pendulum of life seems to have swung to the left and struck poor Mrs. Newman in the head. For a woman already suffering she doesn't need any more grief. If she has any sense she'll leave Nick and his family.

Unless Mrs. Newman swears off Nick and won't ever allow herself to "fall under his spell" again she should not rush into any sexual relationships with other men. Doing so will only provide ammunition for future arguments after they've reconciled. Once the reconciliation is complete and just for the record, Mrs. Newman should find the courage to put all of the Newmans in their place. If they cannot recuse themselves in the future stay the hell away. As for her daughter, Mrs. Newman should wash that kid's mouth out with soap. I'm your mother you little snot. Never, ever, speak ill of me again.
