Okay, how long has Nikki Newman been gone? Did she tell anyone where she was going and if so wouldn't those people think it odd she never communicated to having arrived at her destination in one piece? Despite being left at the alter, wouldn't Paul Williams have asked around to see if anyone knew where the old cow had wandered off to?

Would a week later daughter Victoria Hellstrom become concerned and the first person she'd seek out be Nikki's one and only friend Katherine Chancellor? Why yes, it would. But it doesn't explain why she'd have to first ask estranged hubby J.T. Hellstrom if he thought it a good idea considering she holds J.T. responsible for sucking around former girlfriend Colleen Carlton and thusly giving him the silent treatment all the while guilty of having sex with Demon Sharp. As for the treatment, how is it that a child of four, if Reed Hellstrom is that, would have picked up on his mother's hostility toward daddy. Children in this city have a way of knowing way more than they should, but c'mon.

So where might the old lady be this day? Where else? Having breakfast with her mantel piece hubby Murphy where the topic of the day was property taxes. Holy shit! A rich woman like this worries of such things? She doesn't have a CPA doing that for her? Live-in companion, Jill Abbott summoned too, even Jill was surprised as she shares the taxes and hasn't a clue to the amount. Nor has Jill any apparent concept of investing. A woman of her means should have a couple million tucked away, but alas she put everything into a Cayman Islands bank that went bust and now must beg for scraps at the local nail salon.

So what happens if Jill can't pay her share of the mausoleum taxes? Will she end up on the street looking to Mac Browning for a room at the homeless shelter? Will old man Murph's bait and tackle shop income cover Katherine's resulting short fall? When these old buzzards told Chloe Abbott they'll support her, and her child, did they mean financially and if as Chloe claims she and Billy Abbott are pretty much divorced, didn't she get a settlement?

And was anyone around when Gloria Bardwell and Billy became such good friends he doesn't mind sharing the news of his impending divorce? Always wanting to learn new things, I went out and tried this at the local market. Okay, so it wasn't a Jitter Joint, the concept is pretty much the same. At the deli, a big smile on my face, a female clerk behind that counter asked why I seemed to happy. My cue to let loose, I told her of nearly asking a woman I've come to like very much to marry me. A blank look on her face, the woman asked if I wanted to order anything.
