A regular Grand Central Station, Nick speeds to the
farm where he demands to see Sharon's doctor who
most assuredly has nothing better to do as the
patient in question is being threatened by Nick's
current wife, Phyllis who can at that moment hear
Nick making his demands, but not asking what the
hell he's doing there when supposedly to even give
the appearance of impropriety Nick would put his
marriage at risk, or at the very least cause
daughter Summer to relapse into reality
incognizance. Told by farm personnel that Sharon is
in the securest security, Nick phones wife #2,
leaves VM to say he's worried about not having heard
from her, and hanging up finds Sharon has roamed her
way over to ask what of his kid, Summer? Shouldn't
Nick be worried that with the many times Patty has
snuck onto Newman property Summer could be at risk?
Hell no! Summer is being watched by a sitter; what's
to worry?
And what but a moron would tell Sharon how "proud"
he is of her? What's to be proud of? That she got
away with another crime? Isn't that the general
theme in play as Heather vows revenge on that
"bitch" Patty if she so much as harms a faux hair on
Paul's head? Never mind that as sirens blare in the
background, with Patty begging for Paul's help,
abandoning the Hugo Paul and Patty are not seen
until they've reached the safety of a church and are
without question granted sanctuary!
Again, the theme is family. Forget how members of
these dysfunctional families prey on each other, in
times of crisis, as Victor Newman said, real
families "band" together! Band they did as a
traveling head shrink came to the ponderosa to ask
Ashley a few questions before declaring that Ashley
isn't crazy. Her work there done, the shrink turned
to leave and Victor asked his blind son to show her
the door. Yeah, but who's gonna show Adam Wilson the
door?
