Remember all the shit J.T. and Victoria Hellstrom went through during the
birth of their baby and when they thought she and the baby would die? Of
course you do. You recall those hospitals scenes; the favorite CDs dropped
off; the favorite doll and throngs of people passing in and out of
Victoria's death scene room.
Hearken back for a moment to January, 2008.
It's Nick Newman having a peek at his sister and then telling Nikki Newman
that the nurse has followed her instruction. The TV in Victoria's bedroom
will stay off so that Victoria won't wake up and hear, or see, that her
father, and her family, is/are up to their eyeballs in another crisis. Nick
also promised not to discuss daddy's case in Victoria's presence for the
same reason and if this isn't the dumbest thing you ever did hear I don't
know what is.
I understand that you and I will never emulate these nitwits, but can you
imagine? You've been in a coma for months. On the day you come out of it, as
you're told you were never hooked to life-support or given food, and that
you woke up at all is surely a miracle, wouldn't the first thing you'd want
is to watch some TV? C'mon, you know you would. You'd probably demand your
notebook too. Imagine the email waiting to be answered especially if you
were once a part of the Italian Art World. I mean, you are known the world
over - aren't you?
So what would your reaction be if the family said no, you can't watch TV;
you can't go on the Internet. Wouldn't you want to know why? Thank the gods
you aren't, but if you were Victoria wouldn't you suspect right away that
they're treating you like nephew Noah? So what if the family is in crisis?
Hasn't it always been?
And then there were the lovely parents. You aren't stupid. You knew all that
talk about Reed Hellstrom their one and only concern in life wouldn't last.
And look how long it lasted. Look at the lames excuse Victoria came up with
which to dump J.T. He done her daddy wrong!
This from a bitch who has stabbed Victor Newman in the back so many times
it's a wonder he has any room for the knife Noah wants to stick him with.
I've never been J.T.'s greatest fan, what with his sucking around the minor
child Colleen Carlton (did they ever have sex?) and his suspected homosexual
desires, but no guy deserves to get dumped like this.
