Before my head was nearly split in two by a stop sign - was it an omen? - where were we? With Jack and Billy Abbott talking about having their crazy sister committed? With Adam Wilson cutting himself to get blood with which to stain that god awful purple wedding dress of Sabrina Newman's so as to convince Ashley that she killed the dead for months Sabrina? Can this really be done? Wouldn't Victor Newman have taken what's left of that dress and put it where nobody will ever get their hands on it again?

Wouldn't he have burst out laughing when Ashley said she can't go on a trip out of town with him because the doctor told her to avoid stress? What is it she thinks she's being exposed to by not leaving the Ponderosa? Bad dreams such that she bawls and freaks and behind the wheel of a car speeds in the pouring rain running down ghosts? Is that not stress? Is it not stressful having two brothers constantly at the door demanding she leave Victor's house of horrors?

And you'd think, for the many times Jack has tried and failed, he'd know there are no such things as "sibling rights". Only Victor gets to say whether Ashley will be voluntarily committed to a nut house and at the rate things are going it won't be long. Problem is, what would become of Ashley's unborn, unreal baby?

And how is it that the Abbott brothers can just come and go as they please? Hasn't Victor already had a number of runs in with them and did he not inform security to deny access to the brothers from Hell? How does an old man like Victor go from one extreme to the other? One moment security hauls the brothers off and the next Victor is attending an impromptu wake for his dead dog.

A wake which strangely enough included Noah Newman. Strange, because it was thought his dog was, or is, Fisher. For a kid so concerned about his grandpa's mutt, for a kid who just the other day took a bite out of Victor's back, why didn't Noah bring Fisher to the wake? Weren't the two dogs pals? Didn't they sniff each others butts? Moreover, when has Abby Carlton ever given a crap about Zapato and what would Eden Baldwin know of this dog? When Abby spoke of her "first" dog, was she talking about Zapato? What other dog could there have been? The answer is none because Zapato's the first dog ever known to pee on Newman property. The thing is: Zapato wasn't her dog.
