Are you still confused about Newman Security? Subsequent to the murder of an
innocent pet, isn't there a constant threat that Patty Williams will return
and do harm to the lady of the Ponderosa? Not that Ashley Newman is any
lady, did security not see or hear the car barreling down the road with
Ashley behind the wheel? While it was raining at the time, wouldn't security
be even more alert? If it missed the actual hit and run, wouldn't Nikki
Newman's injured body have been found by now?
Where is the old cow? Did she roll down an embankment to the edge of a
river? Will it take Murphy Murph out fishing for catfish to find her? Will
there be this miraculous tale of how Nikki survived the storm and save for a
slight abrasion suffered nothing more than running mascara? Anyone with a
clue as to why Father Todd Williams would say that before leaving brother
Paul at the alter Nikki prayed to God? Clueless as he is, even Paul knew
that wasn't right. What loving God would tell Nikki she belongs with a man
who has always beat her emotionally? Certainly not the God Paul believes in,
and you know he believes because who else but God would have told him to
ditch his son in California and never see him again? It couldn't be that
Nikki's dumping him was retribution. Paul's such a kind and gentle man.
If Murph is too busy, could Chance Chancellor be called in to locate the old
cow? Oh wait, forget that. Nobody suspects Nikki has met foul play which
explains why Victor Newman summoned her adult children to tell them the
wedding had been called off, and stupid Nick Newman who was supposed to be
giving his mother away, hadn't been informed and therefore had to ask daddy
where Ma might have gone. Not informing the woman who is like a mother to
her either, a best friend if nothing else, Nikki didn't inform Katherine
Chancellor of her decision?
WTF? Did I just read something about Chance being called in? You did! You
may not have known that as a Iraq War Vet, as a Military Policeman, Chance
need only reside in Genoa City 3-days to qualify for the local police force.
Forget all the other applicants on the waiting list for years, Chance is one
of Genoa City's elite. They merely snap their fingers and the best jobs
anywhere are laid at their feet.
