Good God. I'm watching the events in Mexico play out
and shaking my head. I am aware that Nick Newman is
booking a flight heading for the remote fishing
village and I'm wondering how far can it be from the
airport? Considering how fast PI Paul Williams and
Nikki Chow got there, the village must have its own
airport. It must be too that Nick will have no
trouble finding the village, but of what use would
he be there? If the situation is too volatile for
his mother, imagine what it must be for a mommy's
boy?
Can you see Nick walking into that canteen and
demanding information from the locals? Can you see
Nick being taken out behind the canteen and his
throat slit? Are you amazed that again the local
authorities haven't been notified? Isn't it
something that the FBI is reportedly working this
case to the point where Nick said he stayed up half
the night working with the Feds and yet the Feds
have seemingly no awareness that the Superhero's
have taken it upon themselves to capture a mobster?
Will it be again that the police will arrive only
after Nick, or Nikki, or Paul have saved the day -
in a storm to boot?
Was it not sheer lunacy that Nikki would tell Paul
they should rent a boat in the middle of a raging
storm? Did Nikki think it would be that easy finding
the boat Victor Newman is on, pulling alongside it,
and calling out to Victor that he's in danger and so
please hop aboard our boat and we'll get you out of
here?
When Victor first said that the little girl at the
canteen reminds him of his daughter, I thought how
creepy given the girl looks nothing like Victoria
Hellstrom. Equally skin-crawling was when the girl
told Nikki that Victor is her "friend". Then it hit
me. The girl is creepy and she is a lot like
Victoria.
Victoria, the evil bitch so worried about Ma and Pa
she could barely conduct a staff meeting, did not
hesitate to leave town on business. She personally
had to meet with Usama bin Laden in Dubai because
Usama knows her; he's worked with her before and has
no idea she, ahem, jumped ship to Jabot Cosmetics
recently, and returned to Newman power by way of a
coup.
And yet it was Nick who sneered he was glad to see
Victor Adam Newman was taking daddy's disappearance
so well. Nick said not a word to Victoria leaving
town at such an inopportune time when it was Nick
who all along was telling Adam to stop worrying
about the business. But there she was, Victoria,
worrying about the business and going to Dubai when
there must be hundreds of NE employees better
qualified.
Jack Abbott must know something we don't, because he
said today that Nick is too busy trying to find
Victor he's not concentrating on Useless Style
Magazine, even though Nick was at the magazine. When
Jack asked Nick for an update on the search, all
Nick said was that there's been a couple of leads
before talking about the magazine. After talking
with his wife about the magazine, Nick said he had
to get out to the Ponderosa because nobody's there
to check Victor's mail. Not even the FBI, who Nick
said is "taking a few days off"!
What the hell? A few days off? How many days total
did the FBI set up shop there? Why was the FBI so
concerned that Nikki Chow might not be a family
member it had to question what she was doing there?
Are the flying monkeys making this stuff up smoking
crack? Did they forget Noah was supposed to be
"seventeen" when he returned from Rapid Aging Camp?
